Marcus Allen reverses field for a 74-yard TD, Jack Squirek's pick-six seals the half, and the Raiders annihilate the defending champs in 'Black Sunday.'
★ The Raiders' special teams struck first, recovering a blocked punt in the end zone for a TD.
★ Inserted specifically to defend the screen pass, Squirek stepped in front of Theismann's throw with 12 seconds left in the half. The Raiders went in up 21-3.
★ One of the greatest runs in NFL history. Allen swept left, was cut off, reversed field completely, broke a tackle, and outran everyone for 74 yards. He finished with 191 rushing yards. A SB record at the time.
